General Rules
Apply To All Visitors

Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement only. They must be kept on a short (non-retractable) lead at all times throughout the whole park. We have a separate dog exercise field where they may run loose. Should they foul the Park, in the interest of hygiene, please put all deposits in the bins provided. Pet baskets must be brought for self-catering units as, under no circumstances, may pets lie on the chairs or bedding.

Vehicles are allowed on the park provided they are properly insured and driven by a current licence holder only. A maximum speed limit of 10 mph is mandatory on the park in the interest of all residents, visitors and animals. Commercial vehicles by prior agreement only. Each self-catering or camping unit allows only one car. Extra cars must be parked in the car park at all times.

Bicycles are welcome on this conservation park provided they are used with due consideration to all other persons. Parents/guardians of children are reminded of their responsibility to respect this requirement at all times.

Children - It is expected that all parents/guardians ensure considerate and responsible behaviour from their children for the enjoyment of others.

Ducks are the park pets. Please ensure they are not chased or intimidated as they are easily injured.

Noise on this peaceful park must be kept at an acceptable level at all times to avoid complaints from other residents and visitors.

Open Fires and all disposable barbecues are not allowed over the whole park area. Barbecues with proprietary equipment only are welcome. Please take care not to damage the picnic tables and the grass.

Fishing is by park permit only. Permits are purchased at the shop/reception. It is strictly fly or spinner only. NRA Licence required.

Brochures are prepared some months in advance and we reserve the right to amend details of units or items without prior notice.

Disclaimer. No responsibility is accepted by the Proprietors for personal injury or inconvenience, loss or damage to personal property, including vehicles. The Proprietors reserve the right to request the immediate departure of any person, or persons, whose behaviour is causing annoyance to other guests in any way whatsoever.

Self-Catering Reservations. Details of ALL persons occupying the accommodation should be entered on the Reservation form and no alterations may be made except by prior written agreement with the Proprietors. The accommodation is designed for the comfort of the number of persons shown and these may not be exceeded under any circumstances. The accommodation shall be used only by the persons stated on the Resevation form. No accommodation is reserved until the appropriate deposit has been paid. Offers of accommodation are subject to availability and acceptance by the Proprietors. Accommodation is available from 2.00 p.m. and guests are requested to vacate by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. Also, please ensure that accommodation and contents are left in a clean and tidy condition. Prior notice is required from visitors arriving after 6.00p.m.

Deposit is payable as a reservation fee and is non-returnable. The remaining balance is payable 4 weeks before arrival – if not received we reserve the right to re-let.

Cancellation of a reservation can only be accepted provided that it is possible to re-let the accommodation for the period involved; otherwise the reservation must stand and the applicant is still liable for the remaining balance. This liability may be covered by a very reasonably priced insurance scheme which we very strongly recommend.

Breakages must be reported to the Proprietors and these should be paid for before departure. The Proprietors reserve the right to make a charge for any damage.

The accommodation shall be used only by the persons stated on the reservation from. No accommodation is reserved intil the appropriate deposit has been paid. Offers of accommodation are subject to availability and acceptances by the proprietors. Accommodation is available form 2.00 p.m. and guests are requested to vacate by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. Also please ensure that accommodation and contents are left in a clean and tidy condition.
