Rose Award Caravans

VisitEngland's 'Rose Award' means all our holiday caravans are high quality and 'first class' according to the 4 & 5 star rating scheme. All are centrally heated and double glazed.  Heat, light and all bedding and linen included - just bring towels and tea towels.

We have a choice of 2 or 3 bedroom holiday caravans. A proportion are pet free, others are intended so you can bring your pet to enjoy a holiday with you.

Holiday Lodges

Vixen Tor

A spacious (680 sq ft) two bedroom lodge that sleeps up to 4 persons.  It has panoramic views of the Harford Bridge and Dartmoor from the south-east facing lounge windows and outside deck.  Positioned in a quiet part of the park with adjacent parking for up to 2 cars.

This lodge is fully insulated, with double glazing and radiator central heating. The comfy lounge-diner has Freeview TV, DVD player and music system. The fitted kitchen adjoins the dining area. The sleeping accommodation comprises an en-suite double bedroom and a second twin bedded room. There is a spacious main shower room.

Heat, light and all bedding and linen included - just bring towels and tea towels.

This is a non-smoking and pet-free unit.

Cox Tor

A spacious (720 sq ft) three bedroom lodge that sleeps up to 6 persons situated on the western edge in a quiet part of the park with meadow pasture on the other side of the hedge. It has a deck with a private outlook that catches afternoon sun. There is also adjacent parking for two cars and a store for bikes and holiday gear.

This timber clad lodge is fully insulated, with double glazing and radiator central heating. The comfy lounge-diner has Freeview TV, DVD player and music system. The fitted kitchen adjoins the dining area. The sleeping accommodation comprises a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and two twin bed rooms. There is a spacious main bathroom with a full size bath plus shower over it.

Heat, light and all bedding and linen included - just bring towels and tea towels.

This is a non-smoking and pet-free unit.

Holiday Cottage

'Harford House' is a detached 19thC Devon cottage on the edge of the Park. Sleeping accommodation comprises a double bedroom with en-suite shower & toilet, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, plus family bathroom with shower & bath.  The house is set in a private landscaped garden with parking for two vehicles, a sun terrace and broad views of Dartmoor. Dartmoor cottages are sometimes remote, but our cosy private retreat has easy access to the park's facilities (tennis court, WiFi, children's play area, etc) through a gated path. There is direct car access via the lane to the A386 Tavistock to Okehampton road. The nearest pubs are an easy walk (two, each 1 mile away) and National Route 27 cycle way runs past the front gate.

Originally a farm house, it has been sympathetically restored and updated with central heating. Upstairs the bedrooms are fully carpeted and have oak furniture and built-in wardrobes. 

The ground floor with slate tiled floors and original slate flags in the dining room is characteristic of a Devon farm house. The original features are complemented by a Shaker style kitchen that includes dishwasher, microwave and washing machine etc. The stylish dining room has oak furniture and a log burning stove. The cosy sitting room also has a log burning stove, flat screen Freeview TV, DVD, music system with a comfy suite.
